Senior Associate, Valuation Services

Our Valuation Services practice prepares objective valuations for financial reporting, tax and management planning purposes. Senior Associates work on a variety of assignments, including business enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, intellectual property valuations, stock option valuations, and dispute consulting.Day-to-day responsibilities:Performing valuation analysis on a wide range of public and private entities within various industries using accepted and relevant approaches and theoryManaging client engagements from day-to-day interaction with the client through to staffing and managing the resources and work plan through to timely completionDesigning and modifying financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, option pricing, and intangible valuation analysesReporting and presenting analyses and conclusions including writing valuation reportsContributing directly to the development of proposals, presentations, and publicationsWorking with internal management in building and maintaining client relationshipsHelping recruit and develop junior staff Essential Traits:Bachelors/ Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or MBA Professional accreditation or progress towards ASA, CFA, ABV, CPA, etc. designations is a plusMinimum 2 - 5 years of constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, stock option, and intangible asset modelsPrior practical experience in finance (private equity, audit, valuation, M&A, other), is a plusCommitment to obtaining outstanding resultsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skillsExperience working with diverse teamsKnowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointYour recruiter will be happy to walk you through your U.S.-specific benefits, which include:Healthcare Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.Time Off and Leave Policies: Generous paid time off (PTO), paid company holidays, generous parental and family leave.Protective Insurances: Life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, and accident protection.Compensation and Rewards: Competitive salary structures, performance-based incentives, and merit-based compensation reviews.Retirement Plans: 401(k) plans with company matching.Please note that benefits may vary by region, department and role.
