Registered Nurse - Telemetry

$2117.28/week - Job Summary: The Telemetry Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in a fast-paced acute care setting. This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering patient-centered care while ensuring safety and compliance with healthcare standards. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physiological and emotional health, focusing on cardiac status and related conditions. Develop and execute individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare team members. Monitor patient responses to treatments, promptly evaluate therapies, and modify care as needed. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and recovery processes using clear, compassionate communication. Document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the electronic health record system. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and federal/state regulations to ensure quality care and patient safety. Qualifications: Hold a current and active RN license in California. Possess at least 2 years of recent MedSurg/Telemetry nursing experience. Demonstrate proficiency with the EPIC electronic health record system. Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS certification. Have knowledge of nursing practices, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
