Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing to patients in the ICU, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care. Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor and manage highly acute patients with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans tailored to ICU needs.
• Administer medications, ventilator management, and IV drips with precise titration.
• Perform invasive procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and arterial line management.
• Monitor patient responses and modify care interventions accordingly.
• Document patient progress accurately using Meditech system in compliance with hospital policies.
• Float across Medical-Surgical or Emergency departments as needed for staffing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with over 2 years of ICU experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management, IV titration, and arterial line procedures.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Exhibit strong teamwork skills and the ability to support new graduate RNs.
• Ability to work self-scheduled shifts with oversight, including weekends.
