Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: May 4, 2026
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Surgical ICU with a standard 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio, adjusting as acuity requires
Manage care for post open heart surgery patients, including early postoperative management (minimum 1-2 days post-op)
Perform and assist with procedures including intubations, CRRT, and hemodynamic monitoring
Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Impella heart pump and Hemosphere advanced monitoring platform
Respond to rapid response calls and code blue events as part of the designated critical care team
Float to other units within the facility as required, including PCU and medical-surgical floors

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of cardiac critical care experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Proficiency with standard critical care equipment and documentation systems (Meditech)
Ability to meet minimum scheduling requirements including at least 3 weekend shifts per month

Preferred Experience / Skills

CCRN certification
Experience with Impella heart pump and CRRT
Familiarity with Hemosphere advanced hemodynamic monitoring platform
