Job Description The Senior GT Design Engineer will be responsible for the development of the overall gas turbine layout design and component integration Responsibilities Perform the overall GT layout design with component layout design engineers Lead technical systems integration between various gas turbine designs Participate in risk assessments and root-cause investigations for gas turbine systems Issue and revise Engineering Bills of Material Prepare/review design sketches, layouts, schematics, 3D models and drawings as part of a design team Perform necessary clearance calculations to ensure quality fit and function of turbine components Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university 15+ years of experience with gas/steam turbines 15+ years of experience in gas turbine layout design Highly proficient in one of more computational modeling/interactive graphic tools such as NX, CATIA, UG (NX preferred)
