Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. In this contract position, you’ll work full-time in a dynamic team environment, serving a diverse student population and delivering excellence in communication and language support. This assignment offers the opportunity to practice near Woonsocket, RI, with a schedule of 35 hours per week, running from now through mid-June 2027.

Leverage your SLP experience to engage students and collaborate with educators through speech, language, and communication strategies tailored to each individual’s needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Hold, or be eligible for, active RIDE PK-12 SLP certification
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• SLP-CCC required for school setting
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
• Ability to handle a varied caseload
• SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) cannot be considered for union supervision reasons

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families for comprehensive support
• Maintain documentation and data in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Deliver both individual and small group therapy
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as required
