• License/Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS (AHA required), RN license in TX or a compact state
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in critical care preferred; recent experience with post-cardiothoracic surgery recovery, high acuity patients, and invasive monitoring

What You'll Do:

• Provide specialized nursing care to high-acuity cardiothoracic and critical care patients
• Administer medications and treatments, including drips and life support devices like Impella, balloon pumps, and CRRT
• Monitor patient status, interpret data, and respond to physiological changes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families on procedures and post-discharge care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, standards, and protocols

What You Need:

• Valid RN license in Texas or a compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• At least 1 year of critical care experience, preferably with post-cardiothoracic surgery recovery and high acuity care
• Ability to work night shifts and handle complex patient conditions

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Previous experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT, and advanced monitoring
• Critical care or ICU certification
