What You Will Be Doing: Responsible for leading a team of analytics professionals and leveraging Tableau expertise to drive data-driven insights and visualizations. This individual requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and an advanced understanding of Tableau to support business decision-making and deliver impactful reports and dashboards.What We're Looking For: Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field is preferred.Proven experience (5+ years) in analytics, with a focus on leveraging data to drive insights and support business decisions typically required.Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading a team of analytics professionals.Advanced proficiency in Tableau, with a demonstrated ability to create visually impactful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.Advanced proficiency in SQLSolid understanding of statistical analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization principles and techniques.Experience working with large and complex datasets, including data extraction, cleaning, and transformation.Familiarity with insurance industry practices and metrics, including underwriting, claims, and risk management, is preferred.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex analytical concepts to stakeholders at various levels.Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.Shelter's uncompromising commitment to excellence doesn't stop with our customers.
