Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist New office opening in November 2026. Location: 5000 Dogwood Blvd, Kannapolis, North Carolina. Full time – 4 days a week with a competitive compensation and benefits package. Job Overview As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, providing comprehensive oral health care for new patients and routine recall visits. Your responsibilities include performing patient screenings, taking and interpreting diagnostic records, performing cleanings and preventive instructions, and documenting patient histories. You will collaborate with the dentist to deliver high‑quality care and support the growth of a new, state‑of‑the‑art practice. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Preferred Experience One year of clinical experience preferred. Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care. Clinical flexibility as required by the office. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation; reasonable accommodations may be made. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds. Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year. Tuberculosis test required for all new hires in dental office positions (standard requirement, except in FL & TN).
