What You’ll Do

• Provide orthopaedic surgical coverage during assigned weekend shifts
• Take primary call responsibilities, requesting assistance for surgical needs
• Collaborate with existing medical teams to ensure patient care continuity
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely in accordance with facility protocols
• Assist in emergent surgical cases and patient management
• Support facility operations and contribute to quality patient outcomes

What You Need

Required

• Valid Physician Assistant license in North Carolina
• BLS certification
• Prior orthopaedic surgery experience preferred
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts and adapt to call responsibilities

Preferred

• Prior experience in a hospital or surgical center setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment

This urgent coverage opportunity is available from September 4-7, with additional weekend shifts in May, June, and September (excluding specific dates). The provider will be covering orthopaedic surgical needs in a hospital setting, taking primary call, and providing high-quality patient care. Flexible scheduling and support from a dedicated team ensure a smooth and rewarding experience.
