What You’ll Accomplish During Your First Year Deliver Exceptional Technical Work - Become a trusted technical resource by preparing and reviewing complex individual and business tax returns with exceptional accuracy, sound judgment, and minimal review corrections. Become a Trusted Client Advisor - Build strong client relationships by helping individuals and business owners understand complex tax issues, identify planning opportunities, and make informed financial decisions throughout the year. Manage Complex Tax Engagements - Take ownership of increasingly sophisticated client engagements from initial information gathering through final filing, while managing deadlines, solving problems, and delivering an exceptional client experience. Help Develop the Tax Team - Mentor staff accountants, review technical work, provide meaningful coaching, and contribute to raising the quality and consistency of the firm's tax practice. Grow Into Future Leadership - Develop the technical expertise, client management skills, and leadership capability to assume greater responsibility as Driven Tax Strategies continues to grow. What You’ll Bring We're looking for someone who combines technical excellence with strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ideal candidates will have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5–8+ years of progressive tax experience Public accounting experience Experience preparing complex individual and business tax returns Strong knowledge of federal and state tax law Experience researching technical tax issues Ability to manage multiple deadlines during tax season Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience with Thomson Reuters or CCH tax software, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel is preferred. CPA or Enrolled Agent credentials are beneficial, but not required for the right candidate.
