What You ll Do

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic inpatient care, including management of antepartum patients and labor/delivery processes
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs
• Manage gynecologic surgeries such as ectopic pregnancies, ovarian removals, and cystectomies
• Conduct emergency procedures like suction D&C and handle cesarean section complications
• Interpret fetal heart monitoring (NST, CST, FSE) and perform obstetric assessments
• Collaborate with hospital staff, including Labor & Delivery RNs and neonatal specialists
• Support backup call coverage for urgent obstetric needs

What You Need

• Unencumbered Colorado medical license or eligible for licensure
• Minimum of 2 years OB/GYN experience in inpatient settings
• Proficiency in high-risk obstetrics and gynecologic surgeries
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with excellent communication skills

Preferred

• Prior experience with EPIC EMR
• Ability to commit to full shift coverage without early departure

About the Assignment
Join a highly regarded hospital in Colorado Springs, known for its advanced Level III Trauma and NICU services, supporting approximately 60 deliveries monthly. The facility provides onsite ultrasound and lab services, with a fully staffed labor and delivery team. You will be providing offsite night call support for three UCHealth physicians, ensuring critical obstetric and gynecologic care in a safe, well-equipped environment.
