Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- Recent experience in a pediatric or school-based setting
- Strong ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs through standardized and informal evaluation processes
- Develop and deliver targeted therapy tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members on student progress
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and staff consultations as needed
- Provide resources, strategies, and education to support the school community in addressing speech and language concerns
