MIG/TIG Welder – (Ventura, CA)

Pay: $25–$30/hr

Location: Ventura Harbor Boat Yard

Shift: 1st Shift

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at the Ventura Harbor Boat Yard. This role involves welding, fabrication, and mechanical repair work in a marine/industrial environment. Candidates must have strong hands‑on welding abilities and be comfortable working outdoors around vessels, equipment, and harbor infrastructure.

• MIG Welding on various steel components
• TIG Welding for precision and high‑quality welds
• Aluminum Welding for marine and structural applications
• Fabricate, repair, and modify metal parts, brackets, frames, and equipment
• Perform mechanical repairs and assist with equipment maintenance
• Read and interpret basic fabrication drawings
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Work independently and as part of a small crew in a harbor environment

• MIG welding experience
• TIG welding experience
• Aluminum welding experience
• Mechanically inclined — able to troubleshoot, repair, and assemble components
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors
• Reliable transportation to Ventura Harbor

• Experience welding in marine or industrial environments
• Fabrication experience (cutting, grinding, fitting, layout)
• Ability to operate basic shop tools and equipment

• $25–$30/hr starting pay (based on experience)
• 1st shift
• Steady work in a unique marine setting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ventura, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
