AR Specialist

Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Tarrytown, NY | Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 A growing construction company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an organized accounting professional with strong AR and collections experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and cash applications Process customer payments and maintain accurate account records Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts Perform account reconciliations and research payment discrepancies Prepare AR reports and assist with month-end close Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account questions Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to resolve billing issues Assist with other accounting duties as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience Construction or project-based industry experience strongly preferred Experience with billing, collections, and account reconciliations Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience with construction accounting software is a plus Why Consider This Opportunity?
