Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duration: 6–12 Months (Extension Possible) We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct and indirect nursing care within a correctional healthcare setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Physician, or Dentist to deliver quality patient care and support clinical operations. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care and perform routine nursing procedures. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Assess, observe, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment. Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans. Report patient information and changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare team members. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Support a safe and therapeutic healthcare environment. Provide guidance and assistance to staff performing routine nursing tasks. Requirements: Active Oklahoma LPN License or eNLC-recognized LPN License. Level I: Active LPN License. Level II: Active LPN License plus one year of practical nursing experience. Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work any assigned shift or day as required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in correctional healthcare, long-term care, behavioral health, or clinical settings.
