Work in a fast-paced, high-volume trauma facility with a supportive team Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package Start as soon as October 26, 2026, with steady work through January 25, 2027 Quick Facts Location: Columbus, Ohio Start Date: 10/26/2026 End Date / Duration: 01/25/2027 Shift: Day shift, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Monday-Friday) Hours per Week: 40 Employment Type: W-2, Travel Contract Certifications / Licenses: CBSPD or CRCST preferred Experience: Previous experience in sterile processing required Pay & Benefits Hourly pay rate: $32.88 Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time (according to applicable laws) Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and more What You'll Do Decontaminate all surgical instruments (including drills, scopes, and DaVinci devices) Assemble instruments for all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging) Operate sterilization processes (Sterrad and steam sterilizers) Manage HLD (High-Level Disinfection)/scope processing Maintain sterile storage and inventory control Serve as OR liaison for sterile processing needs Use Censitrac tracking system to ensure accurate instrument tracking Handle Medivator equipment and related tasks What You Need Required: Current certification (CBSPD or CRCST through HSPA) Demonstrated experience in sterile processing, sterilization, and instrument handling Proficiency with Medivator systems and Censitrac tracking system Preferred: Experience in trauma or high-volume surgical settings About the Assignment This assignment takes place at a busy, Level One trauma facility in Columbus, Ohio. The Sterile Processing Tech will be responsible for ensuring all surgical instruments and devices are properly decontaminated, sterilized, and ready for next-day surgeries. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to all safety and sterilization standards.
