Business AnalystLocation: San Antonio, TXJob Type: Full TimeExperience: 8-12 YearsMust Have Technical/Functional SkillsRequirement 1 - Business Analyst experience with P&C Insurance Domain, Claims Functionality, Guidewire Experience is must for requirement 1Requirement 2 - Business Analyst experience with P&C Insurance Domain, Claims FunctionalityRoles & Responsibilities• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.• Analyze and document current-state and future-state claims processes.• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and use cases.• Collaborate with business users, SMEs, developers, QA teams, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.• Support Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation, enhancement, integration, and upgrade initiatives.• Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution reviews.• Work closely with testing teams in preparation of test scenarios, test cases, and UAT execution.• Assist in data mapping, data conversion, and integration requirements involving claims systems.• Ensure solution alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.• Support production releases and post-implementation activities.Required Experience• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience.• Minimum 5+ years of experience in P&C Insurance Claims Operations and Systems.• Strong understanding of:o First Notice of Loss (FNOL)o Claims Intake & Assignmento Coverage Verificationo Claims Investigationo Reserves Managemento Payments & Recoverieso Litigation Managemento Subrogationo Salvageo Claim Closure• Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter is mandatory.• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.• Strong knowledge of claims business processes and insurance workflows.• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.Preferred Qualifications• Guidewire ClaimCenter certification preferred.• Experience with Guidewire integrations and ecosystem applications.• Familiarity with PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.• Exposure to cloud transformation and digital claims modernization initiatives.• Knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.• Experience with reporting and analytics tools.Required Skills• P&C Insurance Domain• Claims Management• Guidewire ClaimCenter (Mandatory)• Requirement Gathering & Analysis• Business Process Modeling• Agile/Scrum Methodology• User Story Creation• UAT Coordination• Stakeholder Management• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication SkillsEducation• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Nice to Have• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform.• Exposure to AI-driven claims automation and analytics.• Experience working with major P&C carriers and insurance transformation programs.
