Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, explaining each phase with empathy and precision
• Work closely alongside radiologists and referring doctors to produce top-notch diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging machinery, promptly addressing any issues
• Maintain thorough records of procedures and patient data in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and technologies

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
