Systems Engineer (Command & Control)

Salary: $94,717 - 144,068 per year Requirements:

• We require an active DoD SECRET clearance or higher that is currently valid and not expired or reinstatable.
• We require a bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or a closely related technical discipline.
• We require 3 to 8 years of systems engineering and network engineering experience on Navy C4I or comparable DoD command and control programs.
• We require the ability to work onsite in San Diego four days per week and travel up to 20 percent.
• We require U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain the clearance.
• We strongly prefer Security+, CCNA, and DoD 8570 or 8140 compliance.
• Additional helpful experience includes GCCS-M or GCCS-J, Link 16/11 or JREAP, CANES or ADNS, maritime domain awareness, FMS or Security Cooperation, OCONUS field engineering, and SOVT.

• We integrate maritime surveillance and command-and-control capabilities for a partner nation under Navy Foreign Military Sales programs.
• We support the full technical stack, including LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP, routing and switching, Windows and Linux server administration, and VMware ESXi/vSphere virtualization.
• We configure, integrate, and troubleshoot the delivered baseline from the rack level upward.
• We define requirements, trace them through the solution, and plan interfaces, tests, and verification activities.
• We coordinate engineering efforts across program offices and project leads and brief the outcomes to customers and partner-nation stakeholders.
• We help bring together radar, sensors, aerostats, unmanned air and undersea systems, sonar, communications vehicles, and microwave towers into a common operational picture.
• We brief system results to a Combatant Commander or partner-nation delegation.
• We expect candidates to walk us through one end-to-end integration they personally owned during the interview.
