Auto Body Technician

About the Role

The Auto Body Technician repairs and refinishes damaged vehicles, combining structural know-how with a careful eye for detail. You will work alongside estimators, painters, and fellow technicians in a family-owned environment where teamwork and mutual respect drive the daily rhythm. Whether the job calls for minor dent work or significant structural repair, you will be trusted to assess the task and deliver quality results that keep customers coming back.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the repairs needed to restore structural and cosmetic integrity.
• Remove, repair, and replace body panels, bumpers, and related components according to manufacturer specifications.
• Straighten frames and structural parts using hydraulic equipment and measuring systems.
• Align and reinstall doors, hoods, fenders, and trim to ensure proper fit and finish.
• Utilize Alldata repair information sheets provided for each repair to guide the repair process and ensure repairs are completed according to manufacturer specification and recommended procedures. ICAR repair procedures.
• Follow safety procedures when handling tools, chemicals, and equipment.
• Document work performed and communicated clearly with the team about repair progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area that reflects the standards of a family-owned business.

Qualifications

We welcome technicians at a range of experience levels and are glad to encourage those who are growing in the trade.

• Experience in auto body repair; Minimum of one year of post-secondary education in Collision Repair.
• Working knowledge of body repair tools, welding equipment, and frame machines.
• Ability to read repair orders and follow manufacturer guidelines using OEM procedures and Alldata. ICAR classes a BIG PLUS.
• Formal training or certification in collision repair is a requirement
• Valid driver's license and the ability to move vehicles safely within the shop.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality that fits our family-owned approach.
