CDL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

CDL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR Michigan Broadband Services is looking for a CDL Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal applicant will be willing to perform physical labor, work efficiently, and be highly self-motivated. This position offers a highly competitive wage and a full benefit package. On-site training is provided. RESPONSIBILITIES: Installs and maintains underground telecommunications cabling and supports aerial construction as required. Assists in all phases of underground construction including loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment. Manages the use and care of all maintenance including power equipment, trucks, and hand tools. Works safely around heavy equipment and machinery. Maintains safe working habits and work conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and company policies. Must be willing to travel in Michigan and work some weekends Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: CDL (Class A) license is required 1+ years of construction experience Working knowledge of construction trenching, placing of duct CIC, fiber pedestals and vaults High level of energy motivation and attention to detail Ability to work Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving history, void of suspensions and revocations Must be able to pass all pre-employment screening to include MVR, Background Check, and Drug Screening BENEFITS: Medical and dental insurance Life insurance PTO and Holiday Pay 401k offering with company match #J-18808-Ljbffr
