Client Relationship Consultant Work as a Client Relationship Consultant to serve customers in personal and business banking, building and maintaining relationships across multiple channels to provide the best possible counsel, and delivering a digital‑first experience. Responsibilities Build and nurture client relationships via proactive outreach, follow‑ups, appointments, in‑person, and virtual interactions. Assess customers’ banking needs, obtain and process account information, and recommend deposit and loan products that align with customers’ goals. Maintain a current working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital services. Provide consistent optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Collaborate with branch team members to deliver comprehensive client service. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Educate clients on emerging digital products and self‑service technologies. Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience while ensuring operational excellence and accuracy. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Typically has a minimum of four to five years of related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training. Preferred Skills / Experience Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up. Effective engagement and communication skills with clients. Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems. Thorough knowledge of all retail banking products and services. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience participating in sales campaigns and promotions. Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies. Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while applying a digital‑first mindset. Advanced proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customers’ needs proactively and reactively. Preferred experience in the financial services industry. Location Expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.
