Schedule

Shift: Sunday & Monday Hours: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM Weekly Hours: 16 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: July 22, 2026

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide direct care, supervision, and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist residents with daily living activities, implement individualized behavior support and healthcare plans, and promote independence through engaging, person-centered programming.

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and hygiene as needed Support implementation of Behavior Support Plans and Health Care Plans Monitor, supervise, and ensure resident safety at all times Provide active programming and meaningful engagement throughout each shift Foster independence, community inclusion, and personal growth Document resident progress and services provided according to program requirements Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Work collaboratively with Program Administrators, Shift Leads, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for residents

Minimum Qualifications

At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Current CPR/AED Certification High School Diploma, GED, or official transcripts (verification required) Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered support Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a Direct Support Professional in an adult residential facility Experience implementing behavior support plans and working with diverse support needs

Candidates with residential DSP experience will receive priority consideration.
