Assistant Professor at HUP Cedar - Academic Clinician Track Location: Philadelphia, PA Open Date: Feb 06, 2025 Deadline: Feb 06, 2027 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Qualifications and Responsibilities Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Teaching responsibilities may include clinical supervision of rotating medical students, residents, and advanced practice learners. Participation in psychiatry residency and medical student classroom teaching. May also include serving as an educational site director for residents, medical students, and fellows. Clinical responsibilities may include evaluation, treatment, and management of patients on acute psychiatry services, including inpatient units, inpatient detox, crisis response center, and consultation/liaison. Participation in HUP Cedar quality improvement efforts and potential clinical leadership responsibilities for appropriate candidates. This position will have no mandatory call responsibilities but will have the option of compensated, voluntary call. We seek candidates who embrace and reflect diversity in the broadest sense.
