Project Coordinator - Dayshift

The Project Coordinator monitors assigned projects to ensure all activities are completed according to established objectives, schedules, priorities, and requirements. This position coordinates project activities among craft support, maintenance, subcontractors, management, and customers.

Minimum Experience

• 2–5 years of management experience
• 2–3 years of similar experience in shipbuilding or a related field preferred
• Production shipbuilding experience preferred

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong leadership, motivation, and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills
• Knowledge of basic computer software, including Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of marine fabrication and construction processes
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and project activities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow project schedules and prioritize work activities.
• Coordinate with management to identify and maintain required craft and subcontractor manpower.
• Provide daily written turnover to ensure project activities are properly communicated and executed.
• Maintain accurate and complete project records.
• Ensure project goals and objectives are completed according to priorities, timelines, and budget requirements.
• Ensure team members understand the project scope and their individual responsibilities.
• Communicate with management regarding team member responsibilities throughout the different phases of the project.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental, ethics, and quality requirements.
• Work overtime as required.
• Report to work daily and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
