Grant Manager

Staff Accountant We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. The role involves documenting financial transactions, preparing financial statements, managing payroll, maintaining the general ledger, and supporting the financial reporting function across the campus and corporate divisions. Responsibilities Record and review financial transactions and journal entries. Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial statements and reports. Maintain general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting schedules. Manage payroll processing and related reporting. Collaborate with the CFO Division to prepare university financial reports. Support fixed asset management and work‑in‑progress accounting. Perform joint cost allocation calculations and review supporting documentation. Qualifications Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop. Strong knowledge of GAAP and university/ corporate accounting principles. Experience in a financial reporting environment, preferably with academic or large organizational settings. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Employment Type Full‑time; salary $65,000 per year.
