Ultrasound Technologist

Step into a vital role supporting patient care with advanced diagnostic imaging as an Ultrasound Technologist. In this full-time, contract opportunity, you will provide general and specialized ultrasound services as part of a dedicated clinical team.

Schedule:

• 7AM 7PM Wednesday through Friday

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred
• Proficiency with basic computer functions is required
• Current certification required in one of the following modalities:
• Sonography (S) by ARRT
• Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT (preferred)
• Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT (preferred)
• Abdomen (AB) by RDMS/ARDMS
• Breast (BR) by RDMS/ARDMS (preferred)
• OB/GYN by RDMS/ARDMS (preferred)
• Adult Echocardiography (AE) by RDCS/ARDMS
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
• Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS) by MIRTP NMED
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• State licensure required if practicing in New Mexico

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform general and specialized ultrasound procedures according to established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and document test findings
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure diagnostic results meet quality standards
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment in accordance with departmental policies
