Job Description: RNs need to have a mandatory competency with phlebotomy as well as placing IVs as this is a required skill for any RN at Unity. LPN: May not assume assignment and act as resource in GIOF or med/surg. This is a 14 bed overflow unit for several months to accommodate our ED boarder patients. This will be a med/surg tele unit. It will be a flex space inside our GI Endoscopy space so the number of patients may increase or decrease depending on demand/boarder numbers.

Certifications: BLS Skills: Emergency Department, MS/Tele, Blood Glucose Monitoring/Testing, Feeding tube care and management, Foley catheter insertion female, Foley catheter insertion male, Ear Drops, Eye Drops, IM & SQ, NG Tube/G Tube, Oral, Subcutaneous, Ambulation, Face masks, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Bathing: sitz, tub, bed, shower, Mouth care, Admission of Patient, Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD, Isolation Precautions, Vital Sign monitoring

Special Equipment: - #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO - cannot submit anyone that has more than 10 days or RTO# of jobs in system we can sub multiple allowed Required experience 1 year State License NY license is required in hand to submit Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted Candidates will float - yes Charting Experience EPIC experience is a hard requirement Background policy - reviewed on case-by-case basis Return staff policy 1 year Modules - able to bill for up to 5 hours spent on modules Alert the account manager at time of submittal if traveler has any foreign education that will need to be verified Modules: Modules are billable, up to 5 hours. Total module time may reach 10 hours Any time spent in excess of 5 hours is non-billable Modules are completed pre-start, and vary by specialty Modules are recorded via facility report
