Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization to identify a highly skilled Senior Accounting professional with strong NetSuite experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team where accounting plays a critical role in operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and overall business decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a strong understanding of system-driven accounting processes, and can take ownership of both transactional and higher-level accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and month-end close
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and support overall financial statement preparation
• Oversee billing processes, including project-based and percentage-complete invoicing workflows
• Maintain and optimize accounting records within NetSuite, ensuring data integrity and accurate job costing
• Partner with internal teams to ensure all projects and transactions are properly set up, tracked, and recorded in the system
• Assist with continuous improvement of accounting processes, particularly as they relate to system integration and automation
• Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to analyze financial data and support decision-making
• Work closely with external partners such as CPAs as needed

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite is required
• Experience managing accounting functions beyond basic transactional work, including exposure to reporting and process improvement
• Ability to understand and manage system workflows, including how data flows between platforms
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both accounting and operational teams
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and improve processes
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Additional Details

• Schedule: Hybrid flexibility with an expectation of in-office collaboration a 2 days per week
