Regional Medical Director, Value and Access - West

Stoke Therapeutics seeks a senior Regional Medical Director to lead value and access strategy in the West region. The role involves developing scientific relationships with payers, PBMs, and health systems, translating clinical evidence into reimbursement narratives, and supporting pre-launch through lifecycle management of antisense oligonucleotide therapies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional stakeholder engagement plan aligned with corporate priorities
• Build and maintain scientific relationships with payers, PBMs, Medicaid, IDNs, and HTA bodies
• Serve as senior scientific contact for complex payer and reimbursement questions
• Lead preparation and communication of clinical, health-economic, and real-world evidence materials
• Plan and conduct payer advisory boards and scientific forums; capture and act on insights

Requirements

• Senior medical affairs experience with payers, PBMs, or health systems
• Proven ability to build peer-to-peer relationships with health plan and population-health leaders
• Strong command of health economics, comparative effectiveness, and real-world evidence
• Experience translating clinical trial data into payer-relevant value arguments
• Knowledge of formulary processes, reimbursement, and coverage decision-making
• Demonstrated scientific credibility and communication skills for sophisticated audiences
