Regional Medical Director, Value and Access - East

Stoke Therapeutics seeks a senior, field-based Regional Medical Director to develop and execute medical value strategy across the Eastern U.S., partnering with payers, PBMs, health plans, and other stakeholders to support formulary evaluation, coverage, and patient access for antisense oligonucleotide therapies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional stakeholder engagement plan aligned with medical and corporate priorities
• Build peer-to-peer scientific relationships with payers, PBMs, Medicaid organizations, IDNs, and HTA bodies
• Lead balanced scientific exchange on clinical data, safety, efficacy, and health economic evidence
• Develop payer-facing scientific materials and evidence summaries through appropriate review processes
• Plan and conduct payer advisory boards and scientific forums; represent Medical Affairs at regional meetings

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in medical affairs, payer relations, or market access within biotech or pharma
• Demonstrated ability to build scientific relationships with payers, PBMs, and health systems
• Strong knowledge of health economics, real-world evidence, and reimbursement strategy
• Experience translating clinical trial data and evidence into payer-facing narratives
• Excellent scientific communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
