13-Week Travel Contract Assignment: March 30, 2026 – June 28, 2026 Day Shift | 4 x 10s | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM A healthcare facility in Northern California is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Clearlake, CA. This role involves providing post-anesthesia care for surgical patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe recovery and optimal patient outcomes. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong post-operative monitoring and recovery experience who thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment. Schedule: Monday – Thursday Shift: Day shift | 4 x 10-hour shifts Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM On-Call Requirement: Every third weekend Setting: PACU / Surgical Services Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures Monitor patient vital signs, airway status, and overall recovery from anesthesia Identify complications and intervene appropriately using clinical judgment Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary care teams Administer medications and treatments as ordered Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and recovery expectations Document patient care accurately and in accordance with facility policies Assist with discharge planning to ensure continuity of care Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 3 years of PACU or acute care experience BLS certification required ACLS certification required PALS certification required Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Location Clearlake, California is located in Lake County in Northern California, offering beautiful lake views and outdoor recreation opportunities.
