Food Service Supervisor Location: Jackson, MS Company: Zest Culinary Services (formerly MMI Dining Systems) Zest Culinary Services is seeking a Food Service Supervisor with strong culinary skills to lead daily kitchen operations at Belhaven University. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise Front of House staff to ensure efficient service Assist with food preparation Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance (ServSafe preferred) Train, mentor, and support team members Oversee food presentation and portion control Maintain a positive and safe dining experience for students and staff Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen Prior supervisory or leadership experience in food service Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification a plus Why Join Us?
