Please visit our website to see a sample of the positions we are currently recruiting for.We are currently recruiting for a Director of Finance for a growing and well-established Richmond-area organization.This position will report to the CEO, act as the senior finance leader, manage a small accounting team, and serve as the liaison with the parent company.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, providing financial analysis and decision support.Prepare management reporting packages, forecasts, KPI reporting, and variance analyses.Partner with operational leaders to monitor project performance, profitability, and financial results.Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.Oversee financial planning, working capital, and cash management activities.Coordinate audit, tax, banking, and other external financial relationships.Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and operational efficiencies.Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff.Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:BS degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred5 years of accounting, finance, or FP&A leadership experienceStrong understanding of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.Experience with large ERP systems and Microsoft OfficeExperience within project-based, construction, manufacturing, industrial, or service environments.Our client offers a very strong comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.Please email your resume in MS Word to Isabel.franks at Vaco for review and consideration.
