Clinical Research Coordinator/ Madison, WI (On-Site)

Fortrea seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator for its Madison, Wisconsin site to support Phase 1 clinical trials. The role involves managing study operations, coordinating participant activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while working with pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational conduct of assigned studies in compliance with protocols and regulatory standards
• Coordinate critical study events including check-in, pharmacokinetic sampling, and participant check-out
• Perform study setup including development of protocols, schedules, and clinical procedure planning
• Facilitate study meetings and maintain study documentation in electronic trial master file
• Monitor participant safety, eligibility, and complaints while coordinating with investigators and project managers

Requirements

• University or college degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or related field
• Certification in allied health profession (nursing, medical, or laboratory technology) acceptable
• Minimum 3-4 years experience in clinical research environment
• Strong protocol comprehension and regulatory compliance knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple studies independently and mentor junior staff
• Excellent communication skills for participant and stakeholder interaction
