Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced and well-versed in a variety of medical conditions and treatment plans.
Position Information
- Facility Departments: Med Surg
- Role: Registered Nurse
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: None
- Required Certifications: BLS, NIH
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years
- Float Requirements: May float to Telemetry and ED as the second nurse
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 22 beds on each unit
- Patient Ratios: 6:1 to 7:1
- Equipment: Telemetry
- EHR: MEDITECH
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients
Hiring Profile
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Proficiency in MEDITECH
- Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous experience in Med Surg nursing
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Surgical, psychiatric care, dialysate exchanges, and placement
- Personality Fit: Family-oriented and team player
- Required Education: Associate's degree in Nursing

- Scrub Color: Any color scrubs are acceptable
- Unacceptable Attire: Not applicable
