Board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician needed for a locum tenens opportunity in the greater Indianapolis area. • Position: Emergency Medicine Physician, locum tenens
• Location: Suburban Indianapolis, Indiana
• Schedule: Approximately 6-10 shifts per month
• Shift Availability: Days, overnights, and weekends
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15-20 patients per shift
• Duration: 13 weeks with ongoing need
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,290-$7,450
• Setting: Busy emergency department with strong specialty support

• Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
• ABEM certification strongly preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
• At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Comfort working overnight and weekend physician shifts
• Ability to provide efficient, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency medicine setting

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the emergency department
• Manage a broad range of acute medical concerns and urgent care conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to coordinate timely patient care
• Utilize specialty and ancillary support services as needed
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, quality, and throughput
• Provide coverage for day, night, and weekend shifts based on departmental needs
