As a Certified Ophthalmology Assistant , you will help patients preserve and improve their vision. You will perform specialized eye testing, educate patients, and provide compassionate care in a collaborative, patient-focused practice with experienced ophthalmologists. Responsibilities Perform specialized eye testing as part of ophthalmology care. Educate patients about eye health, procedures, and post-care instructions. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a team-based environment. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. License/Certifications: Completion of the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel Ophthalmology Certified Ophthalmic Assistant requirements within 24 months of start date required. The base pay range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of the total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $21.09 to $27.12 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is prorated based on scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
