Job Title Course Grader – Chemistry (CH 301 & CH 302) Position Details Department: OnRamps Job Type: Student job (Work Study and Non‑Work Study) Schedule: Up to 10 hours weekly (schedule to be determined with supervisor) Location: Austin, TX (Remote work in the Austin area) Effective Date: August16–December312026 Pay: $12.00–$14.50 per hour, depending on tenure with OnRamps Responsibilities Accurately and consistently grade course assignments and assessments in the Canvas Learning Management System. Attend calibration meetings and participate in training sessions to align feedback and develop transferable skills. Assist with seasonal and urgent projects that align with the OnRamps mission. Qualifications Current undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Chemistry or a related field. Completed an introductory chemistry lecture course and introductory chemistry laboratory course (e.g., FRI or CH204). Intermediate computer skills: MicrosoftWord, Excel, equation editor, and experience using the Canvas LMS. Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
