Mental Health/Psychiatric Technician

• Youth Shelter Setting

• Work involves supporting youth aged 18-24 in a shelter setting.

• Role includes helping youth achieve goals, heal from trauma, and develop life skills.

• Foster a safe and engaging environment.

• Communication and crossover with other staff is expected.

• Schedules and shifts are subject to change.

• May require sitting, standing, use of stairs, and lifting or moving up to 20 pounds.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred (or per facility requirements)

• Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

(1) Full Time Youth Coach

• Tues-Fri 4p-2a – 2nd shift – 4 10’s

• Pay: $24/hr

• 40 hrs/week

• 4 days on, 3 days off

• 13 Week Contract
