General Assembler

Job Title

Shift: Morning (7:30 am - 4:00 pm) Pay Rate: $19.00

• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations • Assemble sub-assemblies and sub-components • Read blueprints • Manage time to meet deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously • Build from verbal communication when prints are not available • Use hand tools, crimpers, and ferrules • Strong mechanical aptitude • Build quality product without specified time frame • Follow SOPs

Qualifications

• 1 – 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment, assembly preferred • High School Diploma or GED required • Experience in mechanical assembly and troubleshooting • Experience in the proper use of hand tools (i.e. torque wrenches, crimpers, drills) • Experience, understanding and knowledge of basic hardware (metric and standard) • Must have reliable transportation • Ability to communicate with all levels of co-workers to assure continuity in production • Ability to read, write and speak English required • Goal oriented and self-motivated with a stable employment history • Familiar with Lean Six Sigma concepts preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to lift to 40 lbs. • Kneel, bend, twist • Stand for up to 8 hours per day
