Job Description

CNC Machine Operator / Precision Machinist
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator / Precision Operator to join our team.

Pay Rate
$20+ / hour (Dependnig on experience)

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday 7am-4:30pm

CNC Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities

Setup, load, and operate CNC equipment (lathes, mills, or precision machinery) to manufacture high-quality parts according to exact specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine job specs and tolerances.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
Perform routine machine maintenance, monitor tool wear, and make minor offset adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while strictly adhering to safety protocols and standards.

Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements

1+ years of experience operating CNC machines or working in a precision manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with hand-held measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers) and blueprint reading.
Attention to Detail : A sharp eye for accuracy, specs, and tight tolerances.
Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift to 50 lbs.
Strong attendance record, positive attitude, and ability to work effectively in a team.
