Opportunity for Clinician Educator in Internal Medicine

Become a vital member of our Internal Medicine Residency Program at our organization by taking on a full-time role as a Clinic/Ambulatory Faculty member. We are in search of a dedicated physician who is enthusiastic about educating residents in an outpatient setting. This role offers a distinctive chance to influence the next generation of internal medicine practitioners while nurturing a collaborative and supportive educational atmosphere. For those interested, there are also options to serve as an inpatient attending physician.

• Oversee and instruct internal medicine residents in the outpatient clinic environment.

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient context.

• Design and execute the curriculum for the ambulatory care segment of the residency program.

• Engage actively in case discussions, grand rounds, and various educational initiatives.

• Promote a positive learning atmosphere that encourages resident participation and professional development.

• Work collaboratively with fellow faculty to enhance the overall residency experience.

Our organization is the largest multi-specialty group affiliated with a hospital in the Waterbury region, comprising over 100 physicians and advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering exceptional care to the community.

Position Qualifications

• MD or DO with a valid Connecticut State License.

• Possession of Federal DEA/Narcotic Registration.

• Completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency program.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible status.
