Job Title: Locum Hematology/Oncology Provider

Description:
Seeking a locum Hematology/Oncology provider to start as soon as credentialed.
Practice setting consists of 4 days outpatient and coverage for a maternity leave.
Coverage is needed from September to December.
The call schedule is 1:3, with evening call every night and weekend coverage from Friday 4 PM to Monday 7 AM.
The patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and obstetric patients.
The practice is approximately 60% hematology and 40% oncology.
There are 3 physicians in the practice, with one on maternity leave.
There will be radiation oncologists present during the coverage period.
There are 2 Advanced Practice Providers assisting in the practice.
The average number of outpatient clinic patients is 15-16 per day.
During hospital call, expect to see approximately 1-5 patients.
The clinical areas include oncology and hematology in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
The documentation system used is EPIC.
Required duties include participation in a tumor board, ordering tests and imaging, and prescribing treatment.
