Must be able to perform basic math and read a tape measure.
Sanitary waste/vent, storm, domestic water, and plumbing fixtures/trim and equipment (water heaters, sump pumps etc.)
Layout and install hangers for system installation
Be able to work off drawings (structural, architectural, civil, plumbing, mechanical and cut sheets) and understand how plumbing / piping systems work.
Ability to take off and communicate tools and material requirements to the supervisor
• Other duties will be assigned as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to work with mathematical fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to measure, layout and use basic math skills working with fractions and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
