Staff Accountant

Boxout is expanding and growing. We are a Northeast Ohio based company with over 72 years of continuous success selling nationally to healthcare and medical practices. We are currently looking for a professional, motivatedStaff Accountant! This position reports to the Director, Finance Operations and is a unique opportunity to get exposure to the wide range of activities that occur within the Accounting department along with supporting the continued growth of our business. We are located in a 108,500 square foot contemporary facility in Hudson, Ohio that provides an energetic environment where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged. Responsibilities Support the treasury, accounts receivable, and risk management processes Prepare and analyze bank account reconciliations weekly with timely resolution of reconciling items Reconcile daily credit card and alternative payment activity and monitor refunds and chargebacks Monitor daily cash positions Conduct trend analysis and generate cash forecast Support cash application and entry to customer accounts Support the annual financial statement audit Support various cross-functional projects to drive efficiencies in costs and productivity Identify and drive process improvement opportunities Candidate must be organized, tenacious, show a sense of urgency, and have a strong ability to multi-task. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, display initiative with decision making and show a genuine desire for continuous improvement. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel is strongly encouraged. Familiarity with Oracle and Oracle Report Writer is a plus. A 4 year degree in Accounting is required, 1-2 years experience in Banking, Treasury, Finance Operations, and/or Accounts Receivable is a plus.
