Please click here to learn more about our locations.Job DescriptionThe EVS Tech cleans and maintains assigned areas of the hospital in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, according to established procedures. This position provides services necessary to prevent cross-contamination and the spread of infection between patients, visitors, and staff.Key Responsibilities:Performs a variety of activities to clean assigned areas in patient rooms, operating rooms, pre-op/recovery rooms, and/or common areas of the hospital, according to established proceduresCompletes assignments in an efficient manner while maintaining a high standard of work, ensuring the established guidelines and practices are metUtilizes proper knowledge of safety, hospital codes and infection control measures according to established departmental guidelinesDemonstrates the ability to operate floor care machinery and other cleaning machines safelyProperly collect and dispose of regular trash, regulated medical waste and soiled linensRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDPreferred Qualifications:1+ years of environmental services experience in a hospital settingFloor Maintenance experienceThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $46.42.
