This position leads the Georgia East Market - OTP Atlanta. This role requires significant thought leadership and people leadership.**Commercial Sales Manager**We invite you to lead a team of high-performing, results-driven outside sales representatives, where our customers' potential is personal. As a Commercial Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for the following:**Leading People*** Hire, develop, and retain staff, creating robust succession plans and developing the next generation of leaders* Identify goals and objectives, provide regular and candid feedback through evaluations or coaching sessions**Developing Business Plans*** Develop sales targets for individual sales representatives* Understand areas of customer focus, including Sales Building, Staffing, Profitability, and Compliance**Engage with the Industry*** Visit key existing and future customers**As a Commercial Sales Manager, you’ll learn:*** How to lead following the Servant Leadership model/framework* How to Participate in food shows, regional customer events, customer segment shows, and customer trips to headquarters to maintain visibility with customers, segments, or associations**Position Requirements:*** Four or more years previous sales or business experience* Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, including profitability models* Ability to work evening and weekend hoursGordon Food Service encourages veterans and active military members to apply**Our Culture**Gordon Food Service has a people-focused culture forged through camaraderie, teamwork, and inclusion.
