Responsibilities We currently have a great opportunity available for a Corporate Accounts Director. Lead the development and execution of strategic plans targeting corporate and national laboratory accounts across Sysmex's Hematology, Hemostasis, Urinalysis, and Flow Cytometry product lines. Drive profitable, long-term relationships with health systems, integrated delivery networks (IHNs), core laboratories, and GPO partners to maximize market share and revenue growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Demonstrate strong leadership through effective people development, project management, and team direction. Model executive-level selling skills grounded in financial, operational, and clinical frameworks across Hematology, Hemostasis, Urinalysis, and Flow Cytometry.
  2. Strong persuasive skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate others. Ability to articulate issues and business opportunities to secure long term strategic business with customers of national significance.
  3. Leverage data analytics tools and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) to analyze complex diagnostic healthcare marketplace and customer data, anticipate future trends, prepare contingency plans, and negotiate profitable agreements that secure Sysmex's position and capitalize on the full potential of accounts and the marketplace.
  4. In collaboration with Sysmex leadership, direct a team of Corporate Account Executives by coordinating cross-functional selling efforts across field sales, marketing, sales support, and service. Hold Corporate Account Executives accountable for developing rigorous business plans and achieving revenue goals within assigned accounts.
  5. Will provide corporate direction for sales efforts to Regional Sales Directors and their reports as required in CRL accounts and will coordinate efforts of these teams to maximize impact and positive outcome.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills. Establish long-term business relationships with national customers of strategic significance. Perform responsibilities with tact and interpersonal awareness within Sysmex and customer organizations, to achieve optimal organizational impact.
  7. Demonstrates strong conceptual reasoning and problem-solving abilities to proactively anticipate challenges and opportunities, develop actionable alternatives, and ensure successful resolutions to business and personnel issues.
  8. Create sales and market share goals for Corporate Account Executives for the accounts they are assigned. Measure sales progress to goals and make adjustments accordingly.
  9. Provide insight into the unique and evolving needs of the laboratory market across Hematology, Hemostasis, Urinalysis, and Flow Cytometry to sales and marketing to inform the future development of innovative, high-throughput diagnostic systems.
  10. Champion cooperative development of future diagnostic products through collaborative initiatives with Sysmex Japan, US Marketing and Sales, ensuring customer and market insights are integrated into product roadmaps.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
Percentage of Travel: 51 - 75% Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $126,000-$207,900 . Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), a commission plan, car allowance, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees. Mental/Cognitive Requirements: High cognitive demands- Involves frequent decision-making, managing multiple priorities, and interpreting complex information. Requires planning, organizing, and effective communication. Qualifications Bachelor's degree Required, Master's degree Preferred 5+ years of prior relevant experience Proven track record in national/corporate account sales and GPO management within the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) or broader healthcare industry (preferably across Hematology, Hemostasis, Urinalysis, or Flow Cytometry). Prior success in sales, marketing, and/or training, particularly in key account and GPO environments, Required May include experience in the Armed Forces Equivalency: Senior-level experience in key account management, marketing, health economics, legislative/governmental affairs, medical/scientific liaison roles, and people management is strongly preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Med Tech (Optional) English (verbal and written) - Executive-level corporate negotiation skills required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint) to drive collaboration, reporting, and executive communication. Extensive experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics 365) to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and enhance customer engagement. Strong capability in leveraging data visualization and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) to translate insights into actionable sales strategies. Early adopter of AI-powered tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, Claude, and other generative AI platforms) to improve team productivity, streamline workflows, and support datadriven decision-making. Executive communication, negotiation, and influence: Executive-level corporate negotiation skills; exceptional verbal and written communication; strong ability to influence without authority, coach, advise, and mentor across organizational levels. Strategic thinking, innovation, and problem solving: Advanced conceptual reasoning; results orientation; self-confidence; ability to think strategically at multiple levels, anticipate market trends, analyze complex healthcare data, and creatively resolve obstacles to sales. Business, financial, and analytical acumen: Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to build and present complex business cases; proficiency in CRM systems and data analytics to drive account strategy, pipeline management, and executive reporting. Leadership and organizational effectiveness: Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, manage, and motivate high-performing teams; strong interpersonal awareness; proven success over complex sales challenges and securing profitable, strategic agreements.
